Chapter 23 I'm Just Like You

Gloria's POV

"Oh, I'm not playing that," I shrugged. "But if I were you, I'd keep my distance."

"Haha, good. Your threats are actually turning me on even more, little beauty," chuckled the one with the buzz cut, one hand impatiently grabbing his crotch.

"This is going to be fun," Ally said, her eyes gleaming alongside her smile.

The one with the long hair wore a deep sneer on his face and reached for my arm.

Both rogues towered over me, yet they stood perilously close to each other. A couple of well-aimed hits could easily land.

I grabbed the arm of the guy reaching for me, yanking him forward, and swung my fist back, landing a solid hit on his face.

"The first thing I'm going to teach you guys is to remember to respect women. When a woman says no, she means no," I shrugged and flexed my knuckles, producing a clicking sound.

"Tell them, Gloria!" Ally giggled.

With deliberate slowness, I advanced towards them.

The guy with the long hair paused for a moment, then lunged at me suddenly.
