Chapter 18 Frank's Decision

Frank's POV

I was in the midst of processing documents as my grandfather Barron and grandmother Juana appeared at my office.

Juana walked up to me and took a seat across from me, her expression serene as she inquired, "How are you feeling now?"

My gaze remained distant, and I lifted my eyes to meet Juana's, refraining from speaking.

Juana softly continued, "You've done things to Gloria that were far more excessive than this. She endured it. As a man, do you have the right qualifications to lose your temper?"

My pupils contracted, memories flooding back in an instant. I vividly recalled scenes of Gloria bringing me food, attempting to draw closer to me, only to have it knocked over time and again.

Various images of me mistreating her rushed back into my mind unexpectedly.

Juana rested her hands on her knees, maintaining her calm demeanor. "Do you realize who you owe your current situation to?"
