--Alec's POV--

I walk inside the house with whirlwind of thoughts going in my head.

I thought I already recovered. I tried my hardest to forget about her, but every time I wake up, every time I take a walk and walk alone in the night, all I can ever think is her.

And now, this letter arrived, just in time to wreck the wall I tried so hard to build.

"Hey, what's up with you? Why do you look angry?" Keira asked, walking out of the kitchen.

I could smell the scent of baked cookies lingering in the air and figured she must've barged in her for more than an hour.

"Why are you here?" I asked, narrowing my eyes down at her.

"Why are you in a bad mood?" she asked back.

"I don't want to talk about it," I said, and went up the stair and into my room, closing the door loudly with a bang.

I dropped my body on the bed and immediately felt worn out. My mind was exhausted and without even realizing it, I fell asleep quickly.

When I opened my eyes and looked at the window it was already dark.
