"Hey girl, have you heard what happened?" Ella came to my desk with a look in her face that says she just heard some juicy gossip.

"What is it this time,"

"Oh come on you have to sound more energetic than that, this one's real good," she said, and I rolled my eyes, totally not believing her.

"Ok fine, if you're not interested then I won't tell you," she huffed crossing her arms.

I took a glance at her and sighed, I put my pen down and with a honeyed smile I asked her, "Just tell what it is you want to say," I said, and she was being stubborn at first but soon caved in and let me tell you whenever her mouth opens it really takes a long time before it closes again.

"Have you heard of that cold professor I thought you had a fling with?" My body froze, knowing the person she was talking about.

"You mean Alec?" I muttered his name lowly, afraid that he'll pop up the next second I say his name aloud.

Alec stopped coming to school, and because of that, we got
