Skye looked at Alec who was walking ahead of her to the car.

She was thinking if what the lady there said bothered him, but she chose to stay silent, not wanting to add more to his obvious signs of frustration.

When they got inside the car, Alec was still quiet, until half way on the road, he glanced at Skye and took a deep breath.

"Skye, you know how much I care and love you right?" He asked, and Skye nodded her head at him, smiling softly.

"Of course,"

"Good, cause I want you to know, everything I did and will do, it's because I love you, but don't ever think that the consequences of my actions is your fault," he muttered, gently brushing Skye's hand with his.

Skye looked at him, and a trace of remorse washed over her.

She can't help but blame herself. She can't help it, she's the only reason why Alec refuses to move on with his life, she thought when they meet again he would change, even just a bit, but he was exactly the same person he was five years ago.
