Chapter 95

The sun rose high up in the sky. Alec set up a tent for both of them and slept through the night at the beach.

When he woke up, he moved his hand beside him to pull Skye close to him, but he didn't feel any sign of her anywhere.

He abruptly got up looking around, and seeing the empty space beside him, his heart skip a beat.

He got out of the tent fast and searched the area for her. He sniffed the air, and when he got a whiff of her scent, his nerves instantly started to calm down.

"Where is she?" he looked around, and not too far away, he spotted her dressed in white dress, sitting on the sandy beach, leaning on a tree.

Alec slowly walked to her, as if any moment she'll disappear if he doesn't get to her on time.
