Jake~

The moon is very bright tonight, don’t you think?

I stood by the window, watching as the moon shone brightly on the rest of us. A sigh escaped my lips when I didn’t get a reply from my wolf.

By this time tomorrow, the pack Alpha would have been declared and finally we would get to know who survived and who didn’t. Surprisingly I was supposed to feel fearful at least. I was going against the most powerful man in the pack. I was going against my father but no. Instead I felt peace. Maybe because I know I would finally be able to get revenge for my mothers death. In any case, I am ready for whatever the next day has to offer.

The door creaked slightly, alerting me of the presence of another in the room. Heavy footsteps marched towards me, the scent of Lemon and wet wood filled my nostrils.

“Tomorrow’s the big day.” He says quietly as I stepped aside, allowing him space.

“I know.”

I felt his gaze heavy on me but he didn’t speak. “How do you feel?” He asked after some few minutes.
