“Are you ready?” Jake asked. I finished zipping my bag, standing up properly. “Yeah, I am.” I replied, watching as his eyes darted around.

“You still haven’t told me what your plan is. I don’t think showing up in the Crystal pack without a plan is actually smart.” I say and he nodded, walking towards me with a smile on his face.

“You trust me, right?” He asked like I wouldn’t bare my neck to him and let him do as he please without second guessing it.

“Of course.” He palmed his lips into a thin line, bringing his hand up to caress my cheek “just trust me, we have to finish up what this is with Jason and the only way we can get into his territory right now is pretend like we are still friends with him. For that, I’ll need you by my side.” He says. That’s the only thing I’ve been able to understand in this whole thing. He hasn’t slipped out about the plan. All I know is that he’s been pretty secretive about it. Of. Course, I know it isn’t about him not trusting me but perhaps it’
