Here I was, sat between Mitchell and Jake. Alpha Jason and the Luna were also sitting, watching the maid dish the food.

“How long do you plan on staying?” The Luna asked, gesturing at the maid to stop dishing her food. I furrowed my eyebrows at her question, remembering Mitchell’s had said to not stay long.

“A couple of days at most and we’ll be out of your hair.” Jake says, chuckling slightly

“You’re welcome to stay as long as you want, Jake. After all your father, the late Alpha Williams was a close friend of mine. Isn’t that right, darling?” Jason said, eyes stuck on his mate, emphasizing on the words a little too intently.
