PLEASE READ WITH DISCRETION!

“Boss, our little princess is kicked out of her husband’s home,” said a man, on a walkie talkie.

“Got it,” said a strikingly good looking man. “Make sure to keep an eye on her.”

"Yes boss."

"It's raining heavily, I need to get to her before she gets caught up in this weather. The last thing I want for her is for her to get sick."

“Alright, boss, I'll keep a watchful eye on her.” The man hang up.

"Drive to the MacClare's home," said the good looking man.

His driver nodded and the car turned around quickly and was driving over to where Emily was.

Emily was strolling along the sidewalk of the street. Remnants of the past came flooding through her mind.

Emily is twenty one years old this year. Joshua is twenty-four. Ten years have gone on by them like a flash within their eyes.

They first met on a rainy day like today. She was eleven years old. He was not her first crush, but she was her first ‘real’ love. The first person to make her felt that her whole is okay. He was the one who made her world spin. How happy her days were when she was with him. How everyday shine to her even if it was thundering above or below her. How he make all her sadness goes away with his sweet words.

Now everything is nothing but pain and sorrow. Nothing is left but the bleeding heart of hers.

Emily tripped on a rock and fell down onto the ground. She struggled to get up, but she couldn’t. The weight of the water was drenching over her clothes, making it heavy for her to move. Gravity was pulling her weight down to the ground. She cried as she admitted defeated. Admitted that she lost the battle for his love.

Lightning struck from above her.

“Why? I did so much for you. I sacrifice so much for you, Joshua. I love you. I loved you with all of my heart?” cried Emily.

SCREECH the sound of a tire stopped close to her. It was coming awfully close to her as she could feel the heat emitting off of the vehicle.

Emily chuckled insanely as she didn’t care if they crashed into her. For she felt her whole world was shattered and destroy. Everything was gone. She lost everything. She lost the one person who would make her happy. The one person whom she couldn’t live without. She was weeping as she couldn’t continue on living anymore with this pain.

Emily laid her face down on the cold pavement.

The memories of Joshua and that other woman clouded her mind. His lover that he ached for. That woman have finally come back. She returned to him. The only person whom he couldn’t let go, Megan. How that woman disgusted her. And that woman’s baby bumped.

Everything was making sense to her now. All those late nights that he said he was working was spent with that woman. How he must have embraced that woman the same way he embraced her three years ago. Her late nights of waiting for him, and he was out having fun with his mistress. Seeking pleasure from his old lover.

They have been secretly meeting. He’s been seeking out that woman behind her back. He’s probably been sleeping with that woman for the past few months or even years. Maybe their whole three years of marriage as well. Or else how would he keep his hands off of her for three years.

A tree branch fell in front of me, shocking Emily. She stared at the broken branch with anger.  She shouted, “Fine! If you want to kill me, then do it! Kill me for my stupidity. I’m right here! Aim a bit closer to me. Just hit me right here and I will die just as you want!”

But nothing happened.

Emily looked up into the sky. “So, how is it that it’s always you,” wept Emily.

Lightning booms across the darken sky.

Emily looked up into the clouds, and said to it, “Just struck me with your lightning already! Why are you taunting me! Just kill me. Just end my miserable life!”

Out of the car came heavy footsteps. He was holding an umbrella over her. “Get up!” said the man. The voice almost sounds familiar.

Emily weakly looked up at the man.

The man bend down to her and said, “My beautiful little princess wouldn’t just give just like this, would she?” said the familiar voice.

“What?” asked Emily. She was blinking hard against the pouring rainfall.

It was her oldest uncle.

“Uncle John,” wept Emily.

John lifted Emily up into his arms. “The Emily I knew before was strong. Stubborn. She would never give up at a lost like this.”

Emily gasped at his words. That’s true. She was always a confident, strong, and independent woman. She never gave up. She wouldn’t give up without a fight. Looking for ways to solve her problem. Finding ways to overcome her difficult situation. Finding another solution. She was always able to lift herself from a fall.

She smiled as she had nearly forgotten who she really was. For the past three years she have briefly lost herself.

“Come on, let’s go. You been far away from home for long enough.”

Emily nodded.

“From this day forth the real her will come back again. She will rise again. She will recover from this small bump of hers,” she thought.

John took her into the car and closed the door.
