Chapter 97: Great Grandson-in-law

There was a loud knock on the door and Joshua woke to the sound.

“Who’s that?” asked Emily. She pulled the blanket over her naked body.

“I don’t know,” said Joshua. He got up and said, “Stay here.” He went to peek out the window. It was her uncles and her grandfather.

Emily was looking around for her clothes, but they were scattered all over the floors and she was picking them up one piece at a time to put them on.

“Your family is here,” said Joshua, kissing her on the forehead.

“Yes. Put on your clothes. I will go talk to them.”
