Chapter 96: Deep End of the Water

Emily stepped into the water. She felt her baby kicking as her feet touched the cold water. She started to tremble in the freezing water. Last year during this time Joshua saved her from drowning. How she wished he didn’t. Maybe if he didn’t, she wouldn’t have hurt so much as she is today. Her legs edge her into the deeper end of the water.

Joshua, seeing Emily going into the water, panicked. She can’t swim. “Oh, what if she is trying to commit suicide. Is she trying to take herself out by drowning?” he questioned.
