Chapter 38

The next morning I realized Will had never stopped in after he was down at the hospital. I looked at my phone, but there weren’t any messages. I felt a thousand times better this morning. I walked over to the bathroom to brush my teeth and whatnot and walked back to my room to change. I had an appointment I had to get ready for today.

After getting myself ready I walked out to the kitchen. I was really in the mood for cereal this morning, which was super odd for me, but went with it anyways. When I turned the wall to my kitchen, there was Jared. I jumped. I didn’t realize he had stayed the night.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to scare you. Will text me last night and said he wouldn’t be able to take your to your appointment today, so I should stay to keep an eye on you.”
