Chapter 86

It didn’t take Rosella a long time to find Julian. She knew his favorite spot, by the Oak tree and when she saw him there, she was not surprised.

Rosella walked up to him and squeezed his hands in hers. He turned around, startled and she knew at once that he had not sensed her presence.

“Rosella?” He asked. “Is that you?”

“It’s me, honey,” Rosella replied and hugged him.

They remained like that for a long while and when he finally disconnected from her, she saw that his eyes were pure white.

“What happened to you?” Rosella cried. “Your eyes.”

“She got to me,” Alpha Julian muttered. “Akayla. She killed our baby too.”

“I know,” Rosella nodded. She wiped the tears from the corner of her eyes.

“I saw him, Julian. I saw our baby.”

“I saw him too,” Alpha Julian nodded. “I’m sorry I couldn’t do anything about it. I have failed you.”

Rosella held his hands lovingly. She hated it when he was like that. He was her only source of strength and it seemed that he didn’t believe anymore. He had lost
