Chapter 82

A shrill scream from over a mile jolted Alpha Julian out of his reverie. He shifted into his wolf at once and his ears perked up, alert.

Someone was watching him and he could feel it.

He growled and bared his fangs, daring whoever it was to appear, but no one came for a while.

Just as he shifted back to his human form, he saw her. Even in the midst of the fire, her aura was powerful. Her hair was blood red and burned along with the flame in the warehouse and she smiled noticing his stare.

"We meet again, Julian," Akayla smiled.

Alpha Julian growled and watched as she walked closer to him. He backed away as she came closer.

"Are you now scared of me?" Akayla taunted him.

"I can never be scared of you," Alpha Julian growled. "You're nothing."

"I was," Akayla agreed. "But not anymore, and all thanks to your little son."

Akayla threw a stick at him and Alpha Julian caught it at once. Staring at it, he realized that it was not actually a stick. It looked like a little child, a little child
