What else is the Atelum plant used for if not the Atelum curse? Does it have another use?

I blinked at the Vampire King, totally unaware of whatever he was saying because I've always known that the Atelum plant was for the Atelum curse.

“Does it have any other use?” I asked him, but he ignored me and continued looking at me as if I didn't utter a word.

“When will you start treating my sister,” the Vampire King asked, and I blinked at him again. Is that the question that I asked him?

“As soon as possible,” I replied in a grim voice.

Two can at this game, if he didn't want to answer me then I also wouldn't give him a definite answer.

“When is “as soon as possible?”

“Uhm, I really can't say because I'm still getting close to her, so I can't say for now.” I replied when I saw that my actions were already annoying the Vampire King.

“Okay, then. After you successfully treated my sister, I will tell you my other request before I give you the Atelum plant,” he asserted slowly.
