“Me? Protect a Vampire princess? Did you know how many enemies the Vampire King would have? Most of them might even be waiting for her to just take a step out of the Palace and then execute her, ” Dolphus argued and I suddenly felt a headache pooling in my temple.

Why did I feel like Dolphus is thinking too much about it?

“So how did you intend to go about it?”

“Well, if Selene agrees, we will just disguise ourselves as males and leave. What could possibly happen?” I let out after a while and Dolphus stared at me in shock.
