Eira’s POV

Early the next morning, I went to check on Dolphus and saw that he was still deeply asleep. Esme was resting her head on his bed side. It looked like she had just slept after feeding him the drugs since the spoon she used to feed him the medicinal juice was still in her hands.

I went close to her and took the spoon from her and gently woke her up.

“Esme, Esme,” I whispered so I wouldn’t wake Dolphus up because he needed so much sleep to recover as soon as possible.

“Miraculous healer,” she called out, rubbing sleep off her eyes but her eyes still looked dizzy.

“You should go and rest. It's morning already,”

She nodded. “He had a fever overnight. But I think it has cooled down a bit after giving him this medicine you gave me,”

I had reckoned that he would have a fever overnight. Considering how he hadn't woken up until I gave him my blood.
