Author's POV 

At Lockwood Mansion 

"Do think he will really agree to marry our daughter?" Maria asked James. 

"Of course, he will. He has no option than this. Even if he won't agree we will get a lot of benefits. Fifty percent shares of Knight Group Of Corporation. 

Can you believe it? 

We will be rich. So, freaking rich. I can't wait for the party. Christian has to announce that Katrina, is his future wife. 

"Yeah, you are right. Our daughter will live her life like a queen. Christian is the most famous eligible bachelor in this country. Katrina can fulfill her modeling career after her marriage" Maria said 

"Yeah, you are right. After a long twenty-five, God finally looked at us. Now, I don't have to worry about my good-for-nothing company" James said 

"But honey, what about our debt? You took debt not only from the bank but also from the mafia. How can we return the money? We don't have any money. Our business is about to collapse. What should we do about it? We ran away from Australia without informing anyone. The mafia will not leave us easily. They will search for us" Maria said with fear. 

"Dear, you worry too much. Nothing will happen. Do you know who needs to clear the debt after bankruptcy?" James asked her 

"The CEO and it is you," Maria said 

"Yes. The CEO has to clear the debt but my dear I am not the CEO of our company" James said 

"What do you mean?" Maria asked him

"I only have forty-five percent share of the company but Christian has fifty percent. So, technically, Christian is the CEO of our company. So, if our company collapses he needs to clear the debt not me. And, when the bank comes to know about Christian Knight being the CEO they will never try to mess with him. And about the mafia, when they find out I am related to the Knight family, they will never dare to mess with me" James said 

"Honey, didn't you have equal shares? Did you sell five percent shares so Christian becomes the CEO?" Maria asked 

"Yes. And Christian's reputation is enough to save our company. When our company will stable again I will buy the shares again and become the CEO" James said with an evil smile. 

"Honey, you are playing with fire. Don't take Christian easily. Don't you know his nature? We are no match for him" Maria said 

"Don't worry. We have a strong weapon. The contract. Now, it will awesome if Katrina, can trap him with her beauty" James said 

"Honey, Christian worked with the top models of this country. But the model even fails to gain his attention. He is not a playboy. Her never spotted with the opposite gender. It will be very hard for our daughter to trap him" Maria said 

"It is okay if she can not. Because of the contract, Christian will marry even if he doesn't want to. All we want is a child from him. The future heir of Knight Group Of Corporation" James said 

"Right," Maria said 

"Christian can try to delay the marriage. We need to be careful around him. The bastard has the ability to manipulate someone so easily" James said and Maria nodded. 

"One more thing, I heard you are going to see your abandoned shit. Why do you want to see her all of a sudden?" James asked her

"How did you know this?" Maria asked with shocked

"That was not the answer to my question. Why do you want to her? Don't tell me your mother loves raised for her suddenly?" James said 

"Mother love!? Cut the shit. Do you forget that useless judge gave me half responsibility for her as she was underage? But now is an adult. She can take care of herself and even if she can not it is not my problem. I want to cut all relations with her legally. That is why I called her. I want to meet her. I will take my lawyer with me. We will do it tomorrow. Hopefully, I will get rid of this shit tomorrow" Maria said and James smiled. 

"Talking about daughter, where is our daughter? Where is Katrina?" James asked her

"She went for shopping. She wants to buy a special dress for the party" Maria said 

"Good. And I want to warn Katrina about her nature. She needs to stop hanging out with her male friends for a time" James said 

"But why? And you know Katrina loves to hang out with them. She will never obey this" Maria said 

"Media always chase Christian for news. When Christian announces Katrina as his would-be wife media will chase her too. And if she is caught hanging out with her friends it will a big issue. The media will make it a piece of spicy news and print it on the front page. If this happens Christian will kick her out of his life. And I don't want this. So, you need to make her understand the situation. This is important" James said 

"You are right. Don't worry. I will take care of this" Maria said 

"Good. Now I am going. I need to deal with something" James said and left from there. 

Maria was about to leave for her room when Katrina came there. 

"Kat, how was your shopping? Did you buy the dress?" Maria asked her. 

"Yes, mom" Katrina said and sat down on a couch. 

Maria called a housekeeper and ordered a glass of juice for Katrina. 

"Mom, I heard something about Christian" Katrina said 

"What things?" Maria asked her. 

"That he is so arrogant and rude. And most important he doesn't like girls" Katrina said 

"Yes. But he has to marry you no matter what" Maria said

"Mom, I have an idea to make him mine. After this, he will beg me to marry him" Katrina said 

"What plan?" Maria asked her 

Katrina smiled evilly and then explained her plan 

"But Katrina, this is risky. What if we were caught? Christian will destroy us and not forget about your dad's anger" Maria said 

"Don't worry ma'am. Everything will happen according to my plan" Katrina said
