Chapter 3

Author's POV 

"What the hell is it? Who the hell hired you?" Christian shouted in anger. 

The employer before him gulped down in anger. The whole floor went silent. They understood the beast in their boss has woken up. They even stopped typing on their computers fearing that Christian will get angry at them if he heard the typing sound. 

"Don't you dare to play silent drama here? Answer me what the hell is this?" Christian  shouted again 

"I..it is th..the pro..project fi..file sir," The man said 

"Is it deserve to call a project file? This is bullshit" Christian, shouted and threw the file on his face. 

The pages of the file fell over the ground. 

"Max" Christian  shouted in anger

Prying in mind, Max Christian's assistant entered the cabin. 

"Who hired this fool? Which fool took his interview" Christian  asked him

"Our manager, sir," Max said 

"Bring him here right now" Christian  ordered him

"Yes, sir," Max said and left the room quickly

"You will pay for this. You wasted one week on this file" Christian said looking at the person. 

Soon Max entered the cabin with the manager. 

"Sir" 

"Did you appoint him?" Christian  asked the manager 

"Yes sir," The manager said 

"Base on which ability you haired the fool who did not even know how to prepare a project file?" Christian  asked him

"Sir, I have asked your father before appointing him," The manager said 

"Who is the CEO of the company?" Christian  asked him

"You are sir," The manager said 

"Do you know the meaning of CEO?" Christian  asked him

"Yes," The manager said 

"Then say it," Christian  said 

The manager gulped nervously seeing the dominating nature of his boss. 

"Chief Executive Officer," The manager said 

"Right. It means Chief Executive Officer. Which is me not my dad. You need my permission, not his. I am asking for the last time, why did you hire him? Keep it in your mind that I don't need anyone's permission to kick out of my company. So think before answering" Christian  said 

"Sir, his result was good than the other candidates. So, I hired him" The manager said 

Hearing this Christian smiled and leaned against his chair. 

"Do you think I am unaware of his qualification? He was the last on the qualification list" Christian asked him and the manager's eyes went widened in shock. 

"I thought I only need to hire someone in his position but now I think I need to hire a new manager too," Christian  said 

"Sir, please don't do this. Please forgive me" The manager 

"I want the truth," Christian  said 

"Sir, the manager told me in secret that if I give him 5,00,000$ then he will give me the job. Sir, I sold our all property to manage this money. I needed this job, sir. I have to feed my family. My dad died a few months ago now I am only the earning person in our family" The employer said making everyone shock 

Christian  fisted his hand in anger and stood up

"Sir, he is lying. I did not take any money. You have to believe me" The manager said 

"Sir, I think the person is telling the truth. Our security informed me last week that they found a few unnamed transactions in his account. They are searching for proof so they can inform you about this. So, I understand it now" Max spoke up

"No. He is lying. He is just trying to trap me" The manager said when a hard slap fell on his face. 

It happened suddenly. He could not able to keep his balance and fell on the ground. 

"You sold this job to him. You betrayed me" Christian, shouted and kicked him. Max messages the security to send a few guards came there. 

"Sir, please forgive me this time. I will not do this again. Please don't fire me" The manager said when a few guards entered the cabin 

"You should have thought about this before doing this. Take him away and call the crops. I want this bastard behind the bar" Christian  ordered

Max nodded and called the crops while the guards took him away. 

Christian looked at the employer. 

"You are equally guilty. You should have informed the security team. I wanted to kick you too but as my manager did this to you I can not put you behind the bar. But it does not mean that I will keep you here. You don't belong here. Max, give him the amount he gave that bastard. I want to see his resignation letter on my desk first thing tomorrow. Now get lost" Christian  said 

They nodded and left from there. 

Christian sat down on his chair and started working. 

After a few hours, Mac entered the cabin at lunchtime. 

"Sir, everything is done. It is lunch time" Max said

"Good. You can go now" Christian  said 

"Sir, what about your lunch? And shall I announce the job notice for the manager post?" Max asked him. 

"No. I have someone to handle this post. And I don't want to eat now" Christian  said

"Okay sir," Max said and left from there..

Christian started working again when his phone beeped up. 

Christian picked up his phone and saw a message from his dad. 

Christian opened the message. 

Nathan is coming back today. Your mom wants you home before dinner. She wants to see her children together. Don't be late

"So, this stupid is finally coming back" Christian, muttered and smile. Nathan is his younger brother who was on a trip. 

Christian put his phone on his desk and then started working again. 

After five hours when the clock stopped at 7 pm. Christian closed his laptop and picked up his phone then left the cabin. 

The liftman greeted Christian and opened the lift. 

Christian entered and he pressed the ground floor. 

When the lift stopped Christian  came out his security guards ran towards him 

"Young master, are you sick?" The chief guard asked him. 

"No. Why you are asking this?" Christian  asked him back

"You never come out from the office before 12 and it is just 7," The chief guard said 

"Mom wants me at home before dinner. Let's go" Christian  said

The security guard nodded and opened the door for him. 

Christian gets in and he closed the door then gets in the front side. 

The driver started driving. 

After half an hour the car stopped in front of the Knight mansion. 

The chief got down and opened the door for him. 

Christian got down and entered the mansion. 

When he entered the living room he found Nathan and Alex talking with each other. 

"Hey brother" Alex greeted him

Christian smiled at them and sat down. 

"How was your trip, Nathan?" Christian  asked him

"Very nice. I enjoyed it a lot" Nathan said 

"Of course, after all, you spend all your time in clubs and in flirting with girls," Christian said and Nathan got shocked. 

Alex smiled at the twin's condition. 

"Brother, I was just talking friendly" Nathan said and glared at Nathan for laughing at him

"Anyway, I think you have enjoyed enough," Christian  said 

"Yes. I did" Nathan said when Ella came there. 

"Boys, dinner is ready. Come" Ella said and looked at Christian. 

"How was your day, baby?" Ella asked her oldest son and kissed his forehead. 

"It was okay mom. Where is dad?" Christian  asked his mother

"Putting the dishes on the dining table," Ella said 

"Okay, let's go," Christian said and everyone left from there. 

"I have heard what that manager did," Ethan said while eating 

"He got his lesson, dad. Don't worry" Christian  said 

"We need to hire a new manager," Ethan said 

"No need for it. I know someone who can take this post" Christian  said 

"Did you take his interview already?" Ethan asked him

"Not yet. But I believe the people can do this" Christian  said 

"Brother, this is the first time you are praising someone. Is the person special to you?" Nathan asked him 

"Indeed. The person is very special to me" Christian said and put a piece of chicken in his mouth. 

"Really? Who is she? Come on tell us about her" Nathan said 

"The person graduated from Oxford University six months ago. And for the last six months the person is wasting time" Christian said and Nathan's face went pale. 

Alex chuckled and spoke up, "The person is no other than my twin brother Nathan Knight. Congratulations you got a job in the best company without trying" 

Nathan glared at him and looked at Christian. 

"Brother, I am not ready yet," Nathan said 

"I want you at my cabin at 6. And 6 means 6. I hate the person who comes late" Christian said 

"Mom" Nathan gave a puppy look at his mom

"Christian is right honey. You need to start working now" Ella said 

"I want this world to know you by your name, not by my or dad's name. You need to make your own place. You will work under me until I get satisfied with your work. Good night" Christian said and left from there. 

"Good luck Nat, don't work my prayer is with you" Alex joked and ran from there

"You, wait there" Nathan shouted and ran after him. 

Ethan and Ella smiled at them.
