Chapter 70

"What are you doing here?" Eden asked her parents who stood before her with an unreadable expression.

"We wanted to see you. Is that so bad?" Eden's father said.

"How did you even know where I was?" Eden asked again. It was unusual for her parents to show up here of all places.

"I made Eric tell us. Don't be mad at him, we didn't give him much choice." Eden's mother said but her voice was cold.

"Why? After all these years? And you even kept track of me according to Eric." Eden said.

The 4 were in Malakai's main living room, no one had sat down since Eden started the questions as soon as she saw her mom and dad. Malakai was beside Eden for moral support and Eden was so grateful.

"Because we found out about you being a killer. We didn't raise you to be a criminal." Eden's father said, his tone made Eden flinch.

"The second you kicked me out, was the second you no longer had a say in my life. You wanted me gone. I was gone. Hell I even came all the way to LA to get away from you.
