The shots echoed in his ear even through the protective headgear he wore. His hand was steady but not as it normally would be. He had too much on his mind and it was affecting his skills. "What are you doing here?" Eden asked her parents who stood before her with an unreadable expression. "We wanted to see you. Is that so bad?" Eden's father said. "How did you even know where I was?" Eden asked again. It was unusual for her parents to show up here of all places. "I made Eric tell us. Don't be mad at him, we didn't give him much choice." Eden's mother said but her voice was cold. "Why? After all these years? And you even kept track of me according to Eric." Eden said. The 4 were in Malakai's main living room, no one had sat down since Eden started the questions as soon as she saw her mom and dad. Malakai was beside Eden for moral support and Eden was so grateful. "Because we found out about you being a killer. We didn't raise you to be a criminal." Eden's father said, his tone made Eden flinch. The couple made small talk as they drove, Alec asked about the friend Eden was walking with. She told him her name was Astrid, and they had been friends since high school. After about 20 minutes the couple arrived in front of the Hollywood sign and since it was evening, the sign was lit up. Eden had always wanted to go but never had time.
