CHAP 25

Unlike before, my family and I had a happy dinner. If there is something in my heart that is sad because I often remember Quenevere, I ignore it first.

For the first time, I decided to spend the night at our house. I went to my room and slowly looked around.

Nothing changed.

That was the first thing I noticed. The furniture, beds, and other things were not even removed from their places. I sighed and laid down on my bed. I stupidly looked at the ceiling while remembering the fun times Quenevere and I used to have.

A few moments later, I heard three knocks at the door. It slowly opened until I saw Daddy's image. He stared at me, then roamed his eyes around my room. He smiled slightly before walking in, closer to me.

I got up and then observed his behavior. He sat by my side as silence enveloped the two of us.

"It was a few years ago..." He broke the silence.

I didn't say anything and let him continue.

"That day, I blamed myself for what happened. I feel like I'm a very useless father
