CHAP 30

I am ready to end my life. Just one step and I will fall completely into the deep river. That's how I was surprised when a strong force pulled me back and locked me in a strong body.

"Fuck! Damn it!" a familiar voice exclaimed.

"J-Jairon?" I stuttered calling his name.

He loosened his grip on me, then worriedly checked my whole body. "Are you okay?" he asked.

I cried even more. I hit him lightly on the chest and pushed him.

"Why are you here? Why did you stop me?"

He hugged me again and pulled me tightly. "Bae, this is not the solution to all your problems," he murmured as he kept kissing my head.

I tried to struggle, but I was tightly locked in his arms. "Let me die, Jairon. I don't deserve to live," I mumbled in the middle of my sobs.

"Ssshhh. I get it; you're emotionally stressed. Please rest, Quennie. Stop thinking this sh*t."

I weakly stopped untying him and just cried and cried. "You don't understand, Jairon. It's hard... it's hard to wake up every moment knowing that I killed..
