CHAP 32

Farro laughed and clapped his hands joyfully as he watched me beg. "I didn't expect you to willingly kneel in front of me. You give up so easily, bomber?" he sneered.

I didn't speak yet. I let him go on and on.

"What are you doing, Rose?" Aycxe asked angrily on the line.

"Please, just let me. Don't involve him in this," I begged again.

Farro played with his jaw with his finger and signaled his staff to bring Jairon closer to his place.

I remained on my knees with my shoulders slumped, watching what was happening. Jairon and I looked at each other, and I could see in his face the objection to what I was doing.

"Did you know that I even had an expert make this bomb?" Farro is referring to the bomb attached to Jairon.

He walked towards me and bent down to hold my jaw tightly. "Just for you," he added, and he gently released my face.

"Tie it up!" he ordered his staff.

They quickly moved closer to me.
