My eyes widened as Lucien walked towards me. When he had called me earlier, I hadn't expected him to actually come.

I tried standing up but immediately lost my balance and fell to the ground. Lucien was in front of me in seconds but I shook my head at him then flashed him a smile.

“I'm okay" He pursed his lips then took a few steps away from me before letting out a sigh.

“Zane said you had a way to help?" He muttered and I nodded.

“Yes I do. I can help Karla" He frowned.

“How can you do that when you have lost your powers?" I pursed my lips.

“It's a forbidden spell. Even those without powers can cast it" He frowned.

“You are not telling me everything," I smiled.

“It doesn't matter. Just know that I can save Karla and I'm ready to save her. All I just need is physical contact with her" He stared at me for a while then sighed.
