The next few days were hell for me. Karla wasn't showing any signs of waking up and the doctor kept bothering me that it was the right choice to take the baby out but I didn't want that. If Karla woke up, she'd want to give birth to her baby normally. I didn't want to deprive her of that.

While Daniel and Heather had volunteered to go bring their children over since Kiara and Zane didn't want to leave my side until Karla woke up even though I tried convincing them I was okay because I didn't want to trap them here. What if…what if Karla took a year before she woke up?

“My heart won't be at rest if we leave you this way just like you stayed by me when I was in an almost similar situation like hers" Kiara murmured as she placed her hand on his shoulder.
