EMY’S POV

I had always wanted to know who my parents were, what they were like if they loved me or not and if my life would be any different from the hell it had been all these years. I always thought of myself as a part of MoonShadow Pack and called it home but I received the shock of my life and entire existence.

It wasn't just the fact that I had regained my memories and I was the Beta's daughter of the Silverfang Pack but it was seeing the hate in my mother's eyes as she lunged at me with intentions to kill. I was her prey and nothing more than that will I ever be.

Was it really okay to die by her hands? I couldn't even move if I wanted to.

Everything felt so slow in my eyes, even my fast beating heart had slowed down and I waited for my life to end.

It was all so slow but suddenly, there was a black wolf running at full speed, dashing out of the woods with a scared look and before my eyes, it leaped in the air, hitting Nana with a force that sent her flying over.
