Chapter 6: FRIENDSHIP

After the incident, she just locked herself up and did not leave the room. She was scared to leave the room because many wanted her to be killed. 

 

While she was daydreaming, someone knocked on her bedroom door. She walked towards the door and opened it. In front of the door of Tazaana's room, Aria was standing in front of her. Aria stormed in without her invitation. She froze in fear. She was confused.

 

Aria said, "are you scared?"

 

Aria laughed out loud and said, "Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you. I also don't wish to be killed by King Everett. I just need to know why you haven't come out of this room for a few days. Are you scared?"

 

She answered hesitantly, "yes."

 

Aria replied, "King Everett has ordered that no one can harm you, and of course, no one will dare to harm you unless they prefer not to live anymore."

 

I nodded.

 

"Let me introduce myself first. My name is Aria Callen, and I'm sorry for our first meeting. I was rude."

 

Tazaana reacted, "it's alright, I'm fine. Don't you hate me? Your king said, I am the biggest enemy of this kingdom."

 

Aria replied, "I'm not sure, but I don't hate you, but that doesn't mean I won't kill a creature like you if I come across it. After all, you have a sweet smell. Maybe we can be friends, right?"

 

Tazaana replied, "Sure, if you don't mind…?"

 

Aria, with a happy face, answered, "yes, I don't mind. You are also unique. This is the first time I heard of mages and humans having a child together. Where are your parents?"

 

She responded, "My parents died when I was four years old."

 

Aria said, "oh, I'm sorry, I think we are similar. I also lost my parents when I was 120 years old." Tazaana was speechless after hearing Aria's age, and she asked.

 

"How old are you now?"

 

Aria said, "200 years old, I'm still young. Many more vampires are older than I."

 

Hearing Aria's words, she could only smile and think about how old Everett was.

 

"Let's go out," Aria said. But she still hesitated, "It's alright. I will protect you." Aria said.

 

And they left the room. Aria showed one by one the places inside the castle and many eyes looked at them while whispering, but Aria told her to ignore them.

 

Tazaana looked around and was confused about how to differentiate between day and night. Because the environment in this place is no daylight. Out of curiosity, she asked Aria.

 

"Aria, how do you know when it's day or night, because I noticed there's no light or even a sun in this place?"

"In this realm of black mist, to identify day and night. When it is night, the moon will appear. When it is day, the moon will disappear. But the environment did not change, remained dark. Vampires will sleep when the moon appears, and we wake up when the moon disappears. But even if the moon disappears the sun will not rise because in this realm there is no sun. "

Tazaana nodded her head, a sign she understood.

 

"Ahh... one more thing I want to ask. Are you sucking blood?" Tazaana asked with a curious face.

"Haha, I'd rather be called to drink blood than to suck blood." Aria replied and laughed.

"So you drink blood?" Tazaana asked again.

"Yes, in this realm we do not consume human blood, but we consume the blood of lambs, because there are no humans here. Vampires also eat food, but we need blood every day for our bodies. If we do not drink blood, it's hard for us to control our desire." Aria replied.

Tazaana nodded her head again, a sign she understood.

 

"Tazaana, let's go to the castle tower." 

Aria brought her on top of the castle tower.

 

Arriving at the tower, it surprised them that Everett and Axl were also there. Aria greeted them, followed by Tazaana.

 

Aria said, "Tazaana, I introduced my brother Axl and my cousin King Everett. We are cousins."

 

She looked a little stunned, hearing their relationship. Aria said, "King Everett, my dear cousin, starting today. Tazaana is my friend."

 

 

Everett and Axl just stared at them, and that made Tazaana feel uncomfortable.

 

Everett spoke, "Congratulations for making a new friend." Aria and Tazaana smiled at Everett.

 

"Ahh... Can you leave us alone? There is something I need to discuss with her."

 

Axl and Aria leave them alone.

 

Everett asked, "Today is the first time you've taken a walk in the castle, right?" She nodded her head. Everett asked again, "Are you afraid of me?"

 

She replied, "yes, Your Majesty."

 

Suddenly, Everett touched Tazaana's cheek and brought his face closer to her face. Tazaana was shocked and blushed. Everett said, "I know we'll meet, but who would have thought you were a half mage?"

 

 

Hearing the words from Everett, Tazaana remembered her dream. The man in her dream said. YOU WILL COME TO ME.

 

 

"I think I saw you in my dream before, red hair and bluish eyes, is that you?" She asked.

 

"I don't know." He shrugged his shoulders.

 

"Maybe it wasn't him," she said in her heart.

 

 

"Why didn't you kill me? Don't you say my descendants are the biggest enemies of the vampire kingdom?" She spoke with a curious face.

 

He replied, "Perhaps you will be useful for the coming war, and I would like to ask where your parents are?"

 

"They were already dead, had a car accident, and fell into a gorge," she said.

 

Everett asked again, "Are you sure they're dead? Mages won't die just by falling into the gorge."

 

Tazaana tried to remember the incident before her parents died, and that gave her a headache. She touches her head in pain. When he sees her condition, he becomes concerned and asks, "Are you all right?"

 

She nodded her head, and Everett told her to go into the bedroom and rest.
