Chapter 10: PARTY

I heard a knock on the door, and I opened the door. Aira smiled and blurted,

"Let's go to the party."

"What party?" I asked.

"Vampires party."

"But I'm not a vampire, and I'm embarrassed to join the party," I replied in an uncertain tone.

"King Everett allowed you to join this party, and no one can object." She said.

I was still hesitant, but Aria pulled my hand and took me to her room to find a gown for me.

Aria chose a purple gown, and I chose a blue, sleeveless gown. The gown showed my shoulders. The maid helped me fix my hairstyle, curled my hair, and put on some makeup on my face. Red lipstick further highlighted my beauty.

"Wow, you look so pretty," Aria said. I replied, "Thank you," and smiled.

After dressing up, we walked to the party hall. I was scared and could barely step.

"What happened to you?" Aria said. "Are you scared?"

"Yes," I said.

"Why did you stop in front of the door and not enter the hall?"
