Tazaana was startled and woke up from sleep, as she heard a noise. She cleaned herself and changed her clothes, and left the room. She goes out to see what is going on and sees Everett is fighting with Xavier. Xavier stopped when he saw Tazaana. And the man who looked like Everett even turned to look backward.
She was shocked. The man she thought was Everett but wasn't. They have the same hair color, eye color, a similar body shape, and the same height, but he has mid-back-length hair.
The man frowned at Tazaana and walked towards Tazaana. Tazaana stepped back a few steps. And the man said, "Who are you? You're not a vampire, and I've never seen you."
She looked at Xavier because she didn't know what to say.
Xavier speaks up, "she's a half-mage, her name is Tazaana.""What do you mean, she's a half-mage?" with a face full of questions.
"She's half-human and half-mage," Xavier answered.
"And what is this creature doing here?" while pointing a finger at Tazaana.
She felt insulted because of the man's expressions.
"I found her in the Black Mist forest and brought her here. The king let her stay here and did not let anyone hurt her."
He laughed a little at Xavier's words.
"Violent and feared king, let this woman live." He said, with a disbelieving face.
"Edenfer!" Everett interrupted, with a serious face.
He turned to look and saw Everett.
"Oh, my brother, I haven't seen you in a long time. Oh, do you let this woman live? Isn't she our enemy?" while pointing at her?
"Are they brothers? I'm curious. They are siblings?" She said in her heart.
Everett looked at her and said, "I have my reason."
"Your reason? Don't tell me you have feelings for this woman."
My cheeks were red from hearing him say that.
Everett frowned. "Her name is Tazaana," he corrected.
"This is my little brother, Edenfer," Everett told her.
"Nice to meet you," she said in a low voice.
He just stared at me and blurted, "I like you, let's be friends even if we are enemies."
It shocked me to hear his words. Earlier, he behaved as if he hated me, but now he wishes to be friends. He stared at me and laughed out loud. And that confuses me more. He wishes to be friends with me or mocks me.
"Edenfer!" Everett spoke up.
"I'm sorry, but looking at her confused face, it looks so funny," he said while holding back a laugh.
Both of them have different characters. Everett looked more serious, scary, and rarely smiled, but I saw him smile once. But Edenfer is a cheerful man and not afraid of his brother. I hope this guy named Edenfer is trustworthy.
Xavier, who was standing speechless earlier, spoke.
"Your Highness, we must go now," he said to Edenfer.
"All right, I'll leave first. Have a nice day, Tazaana," and he winked at me and smiled at Everett, then went away.
Now only me and Everett are left behind. He just stared at me and made me blush in embarrassment.
"I'm busy today. You can walk alone, but make sure you never get out of the castle. "
I nodded.
Then he walked away.
"Why is he so serious? Yesterday he wasn’t like that," I said.
"Who?" Aira suddenly spoke from behind me as she looked around.
I was shocked and jumped and almost cursed.
"Nothing," I said.
"You want to follow me to feed the dragons," Aira said with a smiling face.
"Dragons?" I asked with a surprised face. "Do they exist, impossible?"
Aira was shocked to hear me and chuckled. "Everything is possible in the realm of Black Mist," she said.
Then I followed her to the back of the castle. Aira was whistling and some flying dragons came. It stunned me to see it for the first time. Aira took the deer meat and gave it to the dragons.
"You want to feed them?" Aira said.
"Yes," I said.
I held the deer meat and stared at a white dragon. The white dragon just stared at me and suddenly walked towards me. The beauty and size of his body fascinated me. The white dragon snorted at me, and I was shocked and closed my eyes.
Aira laughed and said, "I think he likes you. This dragon belongs to King Everett."
"What's his name?"
"Pendragon," she said.
And I reached out to feed him.
"Pendragon, this is for you," I said.
He put the deer meat into his mouth and swallowed it.
Suddenly, I felt like caressing him. I rubbed his head, and the dragon looked happy.
"Let's be friends," I added.
The dragon stared at me as if he understood what I was saying.
"Alright, done, let's go," Aira said.
"Can I be here for a moment? I'll go inside later, "I told Aira.
Aira hesitated.
"Fine, after that, please go inside the castle, it's not safe for you to be outside alone," she replied.
I nodded.
I continued to caress Pendragon.
"Didn't I tell you not to leave the castle?"
I turned to look and saw Everett walking towards me.
"I'm sorry, I came with Aira earlier. But I like this dragon too much, so I... I." I said in a guilty voice.
"Next time, don't break my orders again." He said, in a stern voice."Yes, Your Majesty." I nodded."Everett." He corrected it."Everett," I repeated in a low voice."You want to ride him?" he said with a gentle voice while caressing Pendragon. This man confused me. Just now, acting strictly towards me and now acting gently towards me."Yes," I replied. He carried me and jumped up on the back of Pendragon's body.Everett sat behind me and hugged me from behind while holding the rope tied around Pendragon's neck. I felt my heart thumping fast suddenly, probably because I felt nervous about flying for the first time."Are you alright, why is your heart thumping so fast?" He said, bringing his face closer to my ear.My heart was thumping faster, and I felt my whole body heat."I’m fine," I said, in a less certain tone."Fly, Pendragon." He said, giving order to him.Pendragon spreads its wings and flutters t
I heard a knock on the door, and I opened the door. Aira smiled and blurted,"Let's go to the party.""What party?" I asked."Vampires party.""But I'm not a vampire, and I'm embarrassed to join the party," I replied in an uncertain tone."King Everett allowed you to join this party, and no one can object." She said.I was still hesitant, but Aria pulled my hand and took me to her room to find a gown for me.Aria chose a purple gown, and I chose a blue, sleeveless gown. The gown showed my shoulders. The maid helped me fix my hairstyle, curled my hair, and put on some makeup on my face. Red lipstick further highlighted my beauty."Wow, you look so pretty," Aria said. I replied, "Thank you," and smiled. After dressing up, we walked to the party hall. I was scared and could barely step."What happened to you?" Aria said. "Are you scared?""Yes," I said."Why did you stop in front of the door and not enter the hall?"W
I opened my eyes and looked around. I was already in my room and saw Everett sitting near the bed."Are you alright?" he spoke in a gentle tone. I just stared at his face, saying nothing. He frowned. "Tazaana, what happened to you?" He asked.I closed my eyes, and turned away. I don't even understand why I behave like that. When I remembered him with Jayda, I felt unhappy.Suddenly, he said,"I will not marry her." I opened my eyes and felt weird about why he told me about Jayda. I got up and sat on the bed and asked."Why did you tell me about you and Jayda?""I can read your mind." He replied."What… what's on my mind?" I asked in a hesitant tone.He sighed and stood up."You take a break, I need to go to the party again." Then he left me. The next day, I took a walk while humming.I ran into Jayda. She came towards me and pushed me against the wall and said,"You don't dare approach King Everett. I am his future
I was hurt by Jayda’s words. She called me disgusted."Tazaana… Tazaana…" Edenfer called me, but I ignored him. He moved fast and appeared in front of me."Why didn't you answer my call?" he said."Why do you also want to make fun of me? You also want to call me disgusting!?" Without me realizing it, my tears were flowing.Edenfer frowned and wiped away my tears. At the same time, Everett was also looking at us. He clenched his fists. He shifted his gaze and walked away."I never considered you disgusting. Even our descendants were enemies."He spoke in a melancholy tone.I looked into his eyes. I could feel he meant it."I'm sorry, I… I was rude to you," I replied in a voice of guilt."It's alright," he said and grinned."Tazaana, don't pay attention to what Jayda says to you. She's jealous of you. That's why she's rude to you. " Edenfer told her."I know, but I'm still hurt to hear her words."
Everett went into the room and the door closed itself. She knew he was closing the door, by his power."Why did you close the door?" She asked."Because I don't want anyone to know I'm with you?" he said."Why is being with me disgusting?" She said in an unhappy voice.Everett looked at me and answered."What makes you think I consider you disgusting?""You don't want anyone to know, right? Or you're worried about Jayda, your future wife, knowing we're together. She even warned me not to approach you. She loves you, takes care of you, and does anything for you.Not only that, but she does, afraid I'll snatch you from her."She said it in an expression that felt annoying."Even if she loves me or whatever the reason, I won't marry her."I looked at him with a serious face and said,"Good, that woman is not suitable for you. There are a lot of women you can marry. If you marry her, I'm sure your life will be bad." She sa
Today I promised to go out with Aria to feed the dragons. I came out of the room and walked. Suddenly something hit my neck, and I fainted. I opened my eyes slowly, and I was in a rather dilapidated house. I felt my neck ache and I closed my eyes again. In the castle, Aria waits for Tazaana in the living castle. For about an hour, Tazaana did not come to see Aria. Aria went to Tazaana's room. She knocked on Tazaana's door, but there was no answer. Aria opens the door of Tazaana's room, but she is not in the room. Aria searched the entire castle area but did not find Tazaana. Aria worries, and she goes to find Everett, who is in the reading room. In the reading room, Everett with Xavier.Your Majesty, sorry to bother you. Do you know where Tazaana is? Aria said in a worried tone.Aria, what do you mean? Everett asked.Today I promised to meet Tazaana, but she didn't come to see me. I searched the whole castle area, but I didn't find her. " Aria
Arriving there, I hid so as not to be known. I saw Everett sitting in a chair, while resting his head on his hand. There was no reaction on his face. After a few minutes, Xavier pulled Jason from the middle."Your Majesty, please have mercy." Jason spoke in a pitiful tone."Why should I give you mercy?" Everett said this while still resting his head on his hand."I… I…" Jason hesitated.Jayda intervened."Your Majesty, this is too much. Just because of a creature like Tazaana, you punish Jason." Jayda tries to defend Jason."Are you trying to defend him?" Everett asked."I'm not defending him, but he shouldn't be punished just because of that disgusting creature!" Jayda said with a dissatisfied expression.Jayda knelt without her consent and groaned in pain. Everett, who got her, is on her knees. Everett stood up and walked towards Jayda."I am your king. Remember that I am not your friend. You can speak as you pl
I went back to the bedroom; I felt pain all over my body. I lay down and fell asleep.I felt like someone was watching me. I opened my eyes and saw Everett was sitting next to me and looking at me. I tried to get up, but I groaned in pain."Just lie down, no need to get up." He spoke gently. He touched my cheek and said,"Does it hurt? I'm sorry I'm late." I saw Everett's face and my heart was thumping fast."It hurts, but I feel discomfort in my heart. When I see you, my heart is beating fast. Am I okay?" I said while touching my chest."You're fine, don't worry." He answered gently. I stared at him and said."Everett, about Jason. It is not my intention to interfere, but I'm not happy if you killed him because of me. I know he's wrong, but I don't want anyone killed because of me. I don't want to be hated." Tazaana said in a sad tone."I'm sorry for making you sad. I just want to protect you." Everett replied.
