I looked out of the window with my hands held behind my back. I was enjoying the view while also thinking of the young woman who had been in the room with me.

She intrigued me but I didn’t know why.

She had called me by my stage name or should I say my monstrous name and it had been a sad thing to hear it from her lips.

I thought I had gone past that stage of my life where I would still be remembered by my savage past but the rumors had kept up and I wasn’t about to change it.

The door opened as I turned to see Gail, the head maid, get into the study.

“Did you take her to my room?” I asked the maid as she stared at me silent and in confusion. I immediately knew something was wrong. “Gail, did you take her to my room or did you drop her in a random room?”

“My apologies master Sinclair,” she said. “I had no idea that is what you said.”

“Gail, you need to listen to me every time I mindlink with you and give orders.”
