Victoria's pov

“Give it to me straight Gail,” I said while taking off my coat to give to a maid. “Who is she? Where is she from? What does she want? And is she pregnant? Give it to me straight.”

I had called the head maid into my room to question her and learn about the strange woman I had seen in the alphas room. There had to be an explanation for it.

“I am not under any obligation to answer you ma’am,” she said with a smile. “I only answer to Alpha Sinclair.”

“I am the Luna you twat.”

“It has not been officially stated. You are only his mate.”

“Do you dare to insult me and look down on me?”

“I do not ma’am. I am only stating what we all know is true. If you have a problem with the other lady and if you have any questions then I suggest you tell the alpha about it.”

“Get out this instant!” I growled as the woman bowed before leaving. I looked at the maids standing around the bed in anger. “And what are you three doing here? Get out!”
