When I was done with the pack business, I started for the company to see the new investors from other packs who wanted to join the pack and know how to invest in my company.

We talked about all the terms in the boardroom but my mind wasn’t there.

I had my mind focused on the two women — Victoria and Jane. They could easily be at war right now and I wouldn’t even know about it.

I knew they would not like each other but that was something I could not avoid. Victoria had been my first mate but she was not capable of giving me children due to reasons unknown to me.

Jane on the other hand was one whom I had not yet slept with and I was sure she was capable of bearing me fruit.

Of course if she did not give me fruit then I would know that I was the problem but for now I needed her to bear me children.

“Alpha,” someone called to me as I shuddered awake to see everyone staring at me.

“What is it?” I asked.

“So… do you accept that the company can merge?”
