Chapter 16

"It couldn't have been a dream, could it?" Olive asked already beginning to doubt herself. Grabbing her forehead, she rested her back on the wall and slowly slid down to sit on the floor.

Rosabella spoke almost immediately," It has to be because I didn't hear a thing and the wards didn't pick up on any foreign magic."

And just like that Olive was convinced that her encounter had been a figment of her imagination. She was sent back to bed and even though something at the back of her mind kept whispering that it wasn't a dream, she ignored it and settled down to sleep once again hopefully, without any bad dreams.

Later in the day,

By the time she got the school, Olive had already left the last vestiges of her dream at the back of her mind. Ashton had asked her out on a date and she was excited about it since their last date had been cancelled due to her panic attack.

Once school ended, Chelsea bullied Jessie into joining her at Desiree's so Ashton and Olive could have time to themselve
