Chapter Nine

Emilia opened her eyes. She couldn't believe where she was; she was on a hospital bed.

"What's going on and why am I here?" she asked herself, looking around.

She quickly got out of the bed and was about to leave the room when a nurse stopped her.

"You are not allowed to leave this place until the doctor approves," the nurse said as she stood in front of Emilia.

Using all her strength, Emilia pushed her away.

"I have to go now," she said.

As she was about to leave, Allesandra opened the door. Emilia calmed down a little.

"What are you doing here? I thought you left me at the place where I fainted. Why are you here?" Emilia asked angrily.

Allesandra smiled a little.

"Don't be mad at me. Can you just sit down so we can talk? I don't have much time left. I have a lot of things to do at home," Allesandra said.

Emilia breathed heavily.

She looked at Allesandra for the second time and bit her lip.

"Okay then. I'm going to sit down," she said as she moved backward.

Allesandra closed the door
