Chapter 6:Mad!

Lily: "My personal life has been pretty much nonexistent you know."

Miss Cross: "Are you trying to say your work life takes like almost every part of your life?"

Lily: "I won't really say that..."

Miss Cross: "ok ok..."

Lily: "I guess I have always been the reason. Now, I have ignited my long time buried selflove and now, I think I am back on track."

The whole crowd applauded her as she spoke.

Miss Cross: "I love your confidence."

Lily: "Thanks!"

Miss Cross: "could we also switch that?"

The audience laughed

Lily: laughed out so loud.

The audience laughed even more.

Miss Cross: "So let's move into one of the reasons for this special interview with you."

Lily: "Yeah!" she answered smiling, but deep down, she wanted to leave so badly. Whatever it was, she was going to make sure Liam finished what he had started.

Miss Cross: she then displayed a video of Lily on the red carpet independently with her manager. "Someone is missing in this tape." looking straight into Lily's eyes in a teasing way.

The audience laughed so loud at Miss Cross' facial expressions. She was such a vibe!

Lily: Sitting up and acting so sure while nodding her head. "I think it's because he shouldn't have been there in the first place."

The whole fans laughed at Lily's response. This was one of the reasons they had showed up and she really gave them what they wanted to hear.

After a few minutes, the interview ended and Lily walked out of the interview house with her manager.

When they got out, Lily spotted a car that looks like Master Chris' maybeach. She wanted to ignore first, but upon seeing Assistant Ray standing at a corner, she felt relieved.

"Anita! My new husband's here." Lily said as she looked at her manager.

"What a caring husband! Lily, you are very lucky." she teased Lily. 

Shy, Lily ignored her and they walked towards their angle.

Immediately they entered the car, Assistant Ray got into the driver's seat and drove away.

"I will like to drop." Anita said, pointing towards an angle.

"Okay." Assistant Ray replied and stopped the car when he got to her location.

"I would love to come with you, but you see, I have no choice as I am now a married woman." Lily said to anita, almost in tears.

Master Chris and his assistant froze in shock.

Wasn't this supposed to be a professional relationship? They asked within themselves. 

Master Chris was so surprised to see that. He has never seen or heard of such a beautiful relationship occurring between a model and her manager, especially if the manager was also a woman.

"It's fine Lily. I will see you tomorrow." Anita replied and then stepped down.

Without hesitation, Assistant Ray drove off and Anita walked into her home.

When they got to Master Chris' estate, Assistant Ray ensured everything was well balanced before leaving the couple.

"This is our wedding night! Are you ready?" he asked Lily. 

She then tried to act like she didn't hear him and made her way to the guest room.

Master Chris: "..."

What's this about?

He couldn't make anything out of it.

He then followed her and walked into the guest room as well.

Lily felt to down as she curled up on the bed with the bedsheets all over her.

When he saw this, his heart melted.

"I mean no harm Lily. This is not your bed. Come, let me show you to our room." he said to her calmly. He then  went closer and pulled her up gently.

It was then that Lily calmed down. He then carried her straight to the Master's bedroom. 

Lily was in shock when she entered the room for the first time. She had never seen a decor as scenic as her new matrimonial room.

Gently, she came down from his arm as she toured the whole room.

The walls were plain white. The couch, the flowers, everything were neatly placed.

She then turned to the other side of the room and looked at the sparkling walls.

Lily froze.

"This looks like me." she said.

"Yes. That's my wife!" Master Chris replied.

Lily was feeling so free gradually as Master Chris and everything in the room made her feel warm.

"It's beautiful! When did you get this done?" she asked curiously. Not quite long. I guess the team were really competent." he remarked with a smile on his face.

"They really are." Lily was so impressed. Something the flashed in her mind, and immediately, she turned to the large and high bed at a corner. 

Rose petals were neatly placed and arranged on it in the form of a heart.

Lily froze.

She then remembered he had mentioned that it was their wedding night. She then comported herself.

When she looked up at her husband, she caught him starting at her so deeply like she was a mystery he had to unravel.

Clearing her throat, "I think I need to use the bathroom. The day is gone, I need to have some shower." she explained nervously. 

"The bathroom us over there. You don't have to worry about anything, as everything you need is in place." Master Chris said to her and turned to visit the study room.

He knew his looks were making her feel shy. Lily then ran into the bathroom and in no more than thirty minutes, she was ready for bed.

At the other end in Liam's office, Liam was pacing around his office, boiling in anger. 

He refused to go home from work despite the fact that he had actually being stressed all through the day. 

Right under his watch, Lily had made matters worse. He couldn't even take a second look at his computer peacefully. 

Notifications kept coming in.

If this continued, his business might be at risk as his investors were really strict and image-minded.

"I have always know Lily to be a snake." Thelma commented from another angle.
