I didn't mean to hurt her

It appeared Helen was the one who followed me. While the others burned in the house, she escaped so she would get rid of me, as revenge. It turned out her lover died in the fire with the rest.

We fought with each other, and she would have hit the stone on my head, but she slipped. When I saw her on the floor, I couldn't tell what got over me as I climbed on her and used the rock she intended to kill me with on her.

It wasn't until she was dead that I realized what I had just done. My hands shook as I watched her, tears streaming down my eyes at the sight of the lifeless woman I had just killed.

I didn't know what to do, and could only sit there bawling out my eyes as I tried to tell the world I didn't harm her intentionally. Had she not sought to kill me, I doubt I would have harmed her.
