An unexpected helper

I watched him without saying a word because I didn't know what the fuck I should say. This wasn't what I was expecting.

When I called the murderer a psycho, I believed he did it because of the gratification he got from shedding blood. Who would have thought they forced him to do it? I didn't blame him at all. Even though his way of taking care of things wasn't right. He shouldn't have taken matters into his hands like he did. But I still didn't fault him.

Had I been in his shoes, I would have done worse than that. I was aware of how soft-hearted I was, but not in such a situation. I wouldn't have let those men stay a minute more on earth, not after all the things they did to my best friend.

“I wouldn't say I understand your pain, and I won't also claim to know how you feel because I haven't experienced something like this. However, I'm not faulting the actions you took. Had I been in the same situation, I would have done the same, even worse.”
