"What did you just say?" I demanded, glaring daggers at the omega standing in front of me. She had paled to an alarming extent, her hand covering her mouth. If I wasn't in a foul mood, I would have reacted in a less hostile manner. I knew that I was goodlooking. Infact, I'd gotten used to the stares the female species throw at me, but no one had ever complimented me in such a fierce manner. Let me tell you, it takes guts.

"I-I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking. I didn't mean to blurt out such rubbish" she said, lowering her head. I could smell her fear.

"Why were you eavesdropping?" I asked and she shook her head.

"You must be mistaken. I didn't eavesdrop. I came here to see you, but-"

"You heard something, didn't you?" I cut her off.

She raised her head.

"Yes, I did. But, it was accidental, I swear!" She said, her eyes wide with panic.
