Thirty Four

A smile curved my lips when I awakened to the beautiful sight of my mate's sleeping face. My smile widened at the memory of the previous night. Stifling a yawn, I rested my head on Jared's chest and listened to the steady beat of his heart. He stroked my hair and placed his arm around me.

"Morning" I whispered.

"Morning. How did you sleep?" Jared asked.

"Nicely" I said, my cheeks warming.

Jared chuckled and pressed a kiss to the top of my head.

"As much as I want to stay in bed with you, all day, we have a meeting to attend" He stated, stroking my hair.

I raised a brow.

"We?"

"That's right."

"With Vincent?"

"We are meeting with Cara, Jonathan's fiancee. She said she wants to talk to us."

We both got out of bed and went through our morning routine. I got dressed in a black hoodie and a pair of light blue jeans trousers. We left the house and started to head towards Jonathan's office.

At the entrance of the building stood Jonathan and a blue eyed blonde with a pretty smile
