      Alpha Vincent's burning gaze was locked with mine, as I stared at him, shocked. 

"W-what?" I stuttered. I was having a hard time processing what he'd just said. As he drew nearer to me, I moved backwards. I ended up being trapped between him and the wall. His right arm was planted right on the wall, his piercing gaze locked with mine. For a moment, I was distracted by his eyes. They were oh so blue. 

"That's what you want, isn't it?" Alpha Vincent droned and I swallowed hard.

"N-no...I"

"Cut the crap. You really are pitiful. You almost got me there. I know you're desperate. You don't have to make it so obvious" he said. 

The more he spoke, the more I became upset. Few seconds ago, he'd sounded different. The look in his eyes had been different as well. For a moment, I'd wanted to believe that his intentions were true. How stupid of me to make conclusions.
