Chapter 5 Room Full of Men

Yasmine felt a burning pain on her cheek and looked at Yuna in astonishment.

"You! How dare you hit me!"

"Remember this slap. If you try something like this again next time, it won’t just be this!" Yuna was like a monster from the underworld, and her words were full of malice. And with that, she left.

At West Drew Institute.

Yuna’s arrival was the most concerning matter in the entire institute. During Yuna’s seven years abroad, she used the name Surra as her identity to carry out countless scientific and technological research projects and achieved many development accomplishments. Now, she was a researcher sought after by listed technology companies. Many were willing to spend extravagant amounts to win her cooperation.

The reason she came here was because of her teacher’s request and also for personal reasons.

"Ms. Surra. We finally meet. My name is Mayson Mills. I am the vice president of West Drew Institute. We are honored by your arrival."

"You’re too polite, Mr. Mills." After the greetings, Mayson went straight to the point and showed her the information he had prepared in advance.

"Surra—"

"Yuna Feron. That’s my name. Mr. Mills, you can call me Yuna."

Mayson was startled hearing the name as it sounded familiar. However, he ignored the thought and laughed. "Yuna, the news of your arrival has been spread out to the world. Now, a dozen companies are inviting you to partner with them. However, I’ve selected the four most suitable companies. You can pick and see for yourself."

Yuna looked through the list casually. The first company that she saw was TN Group, which Yvan owned. Her gaze turned cold. Then she smiled and asked, "Mr. Mills, do you have any suggestions?"

"According to my research, the most suitable partner at present is TN Group. I have analyzed their project copywriting, and TN Group has entered overseas markets. Therefore, you won’t have much to worry about when it comes to cooperating with them."

"Alright, TN Group, it is. Mr. Mills, please arrange a time." Yuna handed over the documents.

"Yes, I’ll deal with that." Yuna had given Mayson a good impression so far. He thought experts like her would be arrogant and rude.

"Yuna, you just returned from abroad, so you must be jetlagged. Our company has prepared an apartment for you. Please rest for two days to adjust to the time zone."

"Thank you. Mr. Mills."

That night, Yuna was in a long black dress as she rode in a taxi. She looked at the WhatsApp group she had with her kids, where they were sending over memes. There was a gentle smile on her face.

Seven years ago, she risked her life to give birth to her two babies. They were now her greatest motivation and hope.

When she recalled the past, Yvan’s face appeared in her mind again. Once she dealt with this, she would never return here and live a peaceful life with her children.

"Miss, we’ve arrived." The taxi driver called out.

"Thank you." Yuna got out of the car and arrived at the place Hebert had arranged for the meeting.

When she opened the door of the private room, she found that it was filled with men. Her eyes glowed with scorn.

In the corridor, Yvan stopped in his tracks and stared at the figure that walked into the private room. Was that Yuna? Why did this woman look so much like her?

In the private room, the men were attracted by Yuna's beauty since she was dressed so nicely. The room was filled with all sorts of men. However, one thing united them—without a doubt, they all had crooked intentions. However, they wore expensive suits and expensive watches.

Instantly, Yuna understood. The men that Hebert found for her only had to fulfill one condition, which was being rich.

The men were starting to get excited and couldn’t wait any longer.

"Ms. Feron. I can’t believe you’re still alive. Was the news of your death seven years ago fake?"

"The media always makes such vicious reports to attract attention. Ms. Feron only went abroad to study but the news cursed her, claiming her to be dead."

"Yvan Jenkins is an unlucky man. How could he abandon such a beautiful wife?"

"Hahaha! If Yvan didn’t divorce her, would we all have a chance to have dinner with her?"

Their conversation got unscrupulously senseless as they spoke.
