Chapter 10 You Have to Marry Him

"It's improper for men and women to have such close contact."

Yvan felt that Yuna was messing up his mind and emotions; he had never felt this uneasy. He coldly asked, "Conditions. Anything you want."

"Mr. Jenkins, it seems you care about this project very much."

Hearing her teasing tone, Yvan didn't reply and only glared at her.

Then, Yuna slammed the documents on his chest and smiled. She didn't seem scared of Yvan at all. "Mr. Jenkins, if you want to sincerely invite me to partner with your company, that's easy. Just find the person who tampered with the drink that night and make them apologize to me. Then, this project is a done deal."

The veins on Yvan's forehead were pulsing. "Weren't you the one who said no personal feelings?"

"Mr. Jenkins, you're the one who said I can ask for anything. I'll give you one day. No second chances once the time is up." And with that, Yuna left the room.

When Michael saw Yuna leave, he quickly entered the room. Seeing Yvan's livid expression, he knew this partnership had failed. However, this company was Yvan's heart and soul. Who would've thought that Yuna would be Surra?

"Mr. Jenkins, the project…"

Yvan said in a gloomy tone. "Go and investigate who tampered with that bottle of wine seven years ago."

After they left the restaurant, Rose let out a sigh of relief as she drove away. "Ms. Feron, were you trying to test Mr. Jenkins' sincerity by being late?"

"No."

"Then it was because…"

"I did it on purpose."

Rose almost stepped on the brakes upon hearing Yuna's answer. She thought, "Could it be that Ms. Feron doesn't want to work with TN Group, so she did it deliberately?"

But she dared not ask what was on her mind. "Ms. Feron, are you planning to corporate with Roosevelt Group?"

Instead of replying to Rose, her gaze fell coldly on her phone. Herbert was calling.

"We don't need to worry about the project. There will be an answer in a few days. And take me to location from yesterday," Yuna said while rejecting the call.

An hour later, Yuna was at the Feron house. Just as she entered, Herbert shouted, "I asked you to go on a blind date, and what have you done? You're deliberately trying to embarrass me, are you?"

Cora held Herbert's arm and added fuel to the fire. "Herbert, I've already told you she must have some plans up her sleeve. Otherwise, how would she accept it so quickly? Look! Now she's got you in such big trouble."

Herbert was outraged. He had put in much effort for yesterday evening's blind date but never expected such an outcome. "Listen up! The person who was injured last night is a shareholder of Treasure Group. For your sake, I had to apologize personally. As long as you agree to marry him, this matter is over. So, as you said before, there is no time like the present. You will marry him today," Herbert demanded.

"Did you investigate what happened last night? The person who hurt him was Yvan Jenkins." Yuna's attitude was cold.

"How dare you bring in Yvan! If it wasn't for you, would he appear in the room? Stop with the nonsense and pack your things! You'll get married today!" Herbert urged impatiently.

Yuna smirked; she found his words amusing. "Do you think I'm still the same as I was seven years ago? Do you think I'm still that timid Yuna who would follow your every order? Your purpose for urging me home is just to let me have a blind date with a bunch of crooked men. Do you really think I'm clueless that you want me to get married so urgently because of your stupid company?"

Hebert didn't argue and admitted it. "Since you know, then I'll save the nonsense. If you don't want me to force you, you will willingly get married. Then, I'll give you some benefits for the sake of your late mother. If—”

"Don't mention my mother! You're unworthy!"
