Chapter 7 How Amusing

The guy’s face turned pale. It was obvious who Yvan was siding with. He only believed in his ex-wife.

The guy swallowed nervously, his heart pounding. Finally, he pleaded, "Mr. Jenkins, we never talked behind your back. We were only here because of Mr. Feron. Otherwise, how would we be here with such a—"

Yvan took the bottle and smashed it on the guy’s head, causing him to fall to the ground in pain. "Are you deaf? Or do you just not understand what I’m saying?"

Yvan was livid, and he showed his impatience on his face. Then, he looked around and said, "Since you’re all invited, then have a good time drinking to your fill. Michael, keep a close eye on them. They’re only allowed to leave when this place closes."

After that, he pulled Yuna out of the room, leaving everyone dumbfounded. This restaurant was open 24/7. Was Yvan trying to overdose them with alcohol?

Yuna didn’t resist Yvan and let him bring her to an empty private room. Then she was pressed against the wall. She wasn’t scared by Yvan’s oppressiveness, but she pulled his tie. "Mr. Jenkins, I don’t think this is a good idea. We’re already divorced. If you suddenly get back together with me, I’m afraid Ms. Bailey will be upset."

Yvan stared at Yuna, who was playful and charming. The innocence she had seven years ago was nowhere to be found.

"Since you’re not dead, why did you deliberately make up your death?!" Yvan’s eyes shoned with rage.

His hands were on Yuna’s waist as he spoke. "And why did you come back at such a time?"

Hearing that, Yuna laughed. "You’re really funny. I had nothing to do with you anymore long ago. So what does my death or my return have to do with you? Or are you disappointed that I’m not dead?"

There was disgust in Yvan’s eyes. "Yuna Feron. Seven years ago, you disgusted me, but I feel even more disgusted by how you are now."

"Then why are you leaning so close to me?" Yuna poked her finger into his chest.

Then she moved close to him and whispered in his ear. "I’m still known as your ex-wife. You should be careful. If there are any rumors about us, Ms. Bailey might faint and end up hospitalized from the news."

Yuna left a kiss on Yvan’s tie when he didn’t notice.

"Yuna Feron! Are you trying to get back at me by going on a blind date with those men?" Yvan grabbed her wrist.

His words made Yuna laugh. However, her gaze was cold. Her feelings toward Yvan had been buried seven years ago. Now, she only felt hate for him. "If you touch me again, I will call the cops and say you molested me, Mr. Jenkins."

When Yuna was done, she left the room. Unexpectedly, there was another surprise waiting for her.

Yuna ran right into Yvan’s first love, Daisy Bailey.

Daisy’s mind went blank in shock upon seeing Yuna before her. Then, she saw Yvan coming out of the same room, and she staggered. However, she endured it and showed a surprised expression. "Yuna, you’re alive?"

"Yes. I’m well and alive. Sorry for disturbing you and your husband’s dinner." Yuna shot her a meaningful smile.

Her words were like a thorn in Daisy’s heart, as Daisy never married Yvan. Even after seven years, she failed to marry him. Seeing Yvan’s gaze fixed on Yuna, she bit her lip and suppressed the uneasiness. After that, she walked to him and took his arm. "It turns out Yuna is still alive. Yvan, you can let go of your troubles now. Let’s go have dinner."
