Chapter 2 Pregnant?

However, Cora unexpectedly decided to push Yuna's buttons again. "Why are you so shameless? Did you not hear what I said?"

"This is my house!" Yuna retorted.

Cora laughed. "Oh? This isn't your house anymore. Before your father was hospitalized, he said if you were kicked out of the Jenkins family, you are never allowed to take another step into the Feron house."

"Impossible. This was the house my mother left me. What right does he have to stop me from entering?" Yuna's face was pale.

However, Cora stood before her with a gloating expression. "If I were you, I would feel embarrassed to come back. Instead, I would rather rot somewhere else. At least that way, I wouldn't bring more shame to the Ferons. This would also be the last useful thing you could do for your father."

"I want to see my father!"

Just as Yuna shouted this, she was slapped in the face.

"Do you still think you're part of the Ferons? Someone! Close the door and stop this jinx from entering. She will only bring us misfortune!" Cora looked disgusted as she turned to head into the house.

Yuna's cheek burned with pain. She wanted to run inside, but two guards forcefully pushed her out. Then, the door was closed, leaving her outside.

Unrelenting, Yuna knocked on the door repeatedly. "Let me in. Let me in there! This is my house. Why can't I go in?! I want to see my Dad! I want to see him!"

After not getting any response, Yuna took out her phone to call her father, only to find she was blocked.

Finally, Yuna fell to the floor. She had been abandoned by Yvan, and now the Ferons had kicked her out.

Why? Why was she being treated this way? What did she do wrong?

Two months later, Yuna was in the hospital.

No matter what methods were used, she couldn't get in touch with her father. She stayed in the cheapest hotel, and when she woke up every day, she would hear news of Yvan and the woman he loved. There were also people on social media ridiculing her for being abandoned.

Later, she noticed something strange about her body and went for a check-up at the hospital.

"Pregnant? I'm pregnant? How is this possible?" Yuna looked at the report and touched her tummy.

Seeing her shocked expression, the doctor advised her, "You're pregnant with twins. I would suggest asking your husband to accompany you for a thorough examination. It states on the report that you're severely malnourished."

"Thank you. I understand."

Yuna left in a hurry. She didn't notice a woman entering the doctor's office just as she left.

Feeling lost, Yuna departed from the hospital. She touched her tummy as tears fell. "Why did you guys appear at such a time?"

Then she muttered, "If I tell your dad, will he let Mommy keep you because you two are his children? Will he let Mommy return?"

Yuna felt that it was just a ridiculous thought. She could imagine that, even if she happily took the report and shared the news with Yvan, he would only ask her to get an abortion. Thinking of that, she felt a pain in her stomach.

At that moment, she decided not to let Yvan know about her pregnancy. She had nothing in this world, and these two angels were a gift to her. They were also her hope to live.

Yuna made up her mind. "My babies, Mommy will bring you two away from here. I will definitely make sure you two grow up healthily."

When Yuna crossed the road, she suddenly heard the deafening sound of a motorcycle approaching from the right. It was as if time had frozen; she stood in place and stared blankly at the approaching motorcycle.

There was a crash. She was knocked over.

All that was in her mind as she lost consciousness were her babies…
