Titans POV

I stared at the open field in front of me. Vultures screeched above me and some poured down to the field to devour the deer carcass that laid there.

Kargo and Jacob stood by my right side, staring at me and speaking in whispers. I did not mind. They could say whatever they wanted. My mind was pretty occupied at the moment.

We had moved from the valley of death to the open field a little bit far off north from our pack compound. Jacob and Kargo had pleaded for me to go to the pack compound with them but I refused it. I decided it best to sit here in the pouring rain and think everything that was happening through.

What the shaman had said to us still stuck in my head, unable to leave. No matter how hard I had tried to wipe it off my mind, it still stayed. I wanted so much to not believe what he had said but I didn't find a reason not to no matter how hard I tried.

I had wanted to ask him who the wolf prints that we had seen belonged to but he disappeared just as fast as he h
