No Kiss for you.

"Angela, Let's not meddle in the young boy's life."

"We have long meddled with his life for too long too."

Mr Gilbert Roberto said, trying hard enough not to be the voice of reason.

"I mean, didn't you and I fight for our love when your parents denied me from marrying you?

Mr Gilbert Roberto asked Mrs Angela.

The question directed to Mrs Angela caused everyone in the room to stare askance at her.

"Ours was a different case."

Mrs Angela's voice was unyielding as she tried to assert control over the situation.

"It's never too late to learn from our mistakes, Angela."

Gilbert's tone softened, his eyes reflecting a mix of empathy and determination.

Wade stood beside Daisy, a mixture of emotions swirling within him.

He felt a surge of pride for standing up for what he believed in, yet a sense of apprehension lingered about the rift he had caused within his family.

"Wade, carry on with the marriage, I and your mom are solidly behind you."

Mr Gilbert Roberto said as he smiled gleefully and tickled Mrs Angela in a bid to make her laugh.

Wade and Daisy stared at Mr Gilbert and Mrs Angela as they playfully climbed upstairs to their room.

Three weeks later…

"Wake up Daisy, today is the day."

The voice of Alison Melody was vehement jolting Daisy Hunter up from the bed.

"It's my wedding day already?"

Daisy Hunter asked, her voice barely above whispers.

"Yes it is and you are running late already."

Alison said as she shook her friend up from bed.

Taking her bath and dressing up, Daisy stared at the beautiful wedding gown that was sent by Wade Roberto himself.

The wedding gown was a breathtaking ensemble of ivory silk and lace, adorned with delicate floral embroidery that cascaded down the bodice into a lavish train.

The bodice hugged her figure perfectly, accentuating her curves while the flowing skirt created an aura of elegance and grace.

As Daisy slipped into the gown, it seemed to mold to her form as if it were made just for her.

The intricate lace sleeves grazed her shoulders, adding a touch of ethereal beauty to the ensemble.

The back of the gown was a masterpiece, with a subtle yet stunning display of buttons running down the spine, leading to a sweeping train that billowed behind her like a cloud of sheer opulence.

"How did it go with Mrs Angela, Wade's mom...hope she wouldn't be an issue?"

Alison asked as she fastened Daisy's wedding gown.

Her question was in line with Daisy's thoughts, almost as if she had read her mind.

Staring askance at Alison, she replied, "Mrs Angela wouldn't be a problem, although she was kind of recalcitrant the day I visited the mansion."

"But I believe she won't pose any more issues than she has already."

Daisy said as she stared at her best friend.

"Hey! Remember the reason you are doing this."

"Get in, endure everything you can for two years, grab the twenty billion dollars and secure Seth's company."

"Then buy me an island," Alison said, smiling gleefully at Daisy, who Immediately responded with her smile.

"I plan on building you a hospital."

Daisy said as she sat down for Alison to finish up with the make-up.

"That is even better." Alison said smiling gleefully.

Moments later…

"Daisy, the driver is here."

Alison said as she stared outside of the room through the window.

"I can't believe this is happening."

Daisy said as she and Alison walked down the stairs and into the car.

The car zoomed off immediately to the cathedral.

Stepping out of the car, Daisy was received by the man she had contracted to be her father.

Staring askance at her as they sat in the church, Alison called out, "Daisy, what have you done?" Her voice was barely above whispers as she sat beside her.

"What! Did you expect my father, the great Mr Hunter, to go to my fake wedding?" Her voice was barely above whispers.

"Okay, so did you invite your mom?" Alison asked ,wondering why Daisy was keeping all this away from her parents.

Staring askance at Alison, Daisy gave her a look that depicted that she shouldn't disturb her again.

The wedding continued with no obstructions of any sort.

Daisy Hunter watched as the whole crowd glared at her, some young ladies were watching and wishing that they were the ones getting married to the handsome and filthy rich Wade Roberto.

Just then Daisy's eyes flashed in the direction of Mrs Angela and Tracy Molly.

Her countenance changes immediately from anxiety to a mixture of trepidation and anxiety.

'Why are they sitting together?... I hope Mrs Angela and her minion Tracey Molly don't cause any issues today.'

Daisy's thoughts raced as she glimpsed Mrs Angela and Tracy Molly sitting together, their heads close in conversation.

Her worry mounted, wondering if they were scheming something that might disrupt the wedding day.

"Please, let everything go smoothly today,"

Daisy silently pleaded, hoping against hope that Mrs Angela's presence wouldn't turn the day upside down.

"Is everything alright?"

Alison asked as she stared askance at Daisy.

"Yes, everything is going great," Daisy replied cheerfully, only hoping for the best.

Moments later...

Daisy walked down the aisle, led by her fake father.

As she walked toward Wade Roberto, her heart pounded with a mix of nerves and determination.

She stole a glance at Seth Nathaniel, seated among the guests, his supportive gaze offering a reassuring nod.

His unexpected presence was a comfort amidst the whirlwind of uncertainties.

With each step closer to Wade, Daisy felt the weight of the contract marriage agreement heavy on her shoulders.

The marriage protocol continued as normal until it got to the part of kissing the bride.

As the priest made the sacred statement, "You may now kiss the bride."

Daisy's heart skipped a beat as she stared at her true love, Seth Nathaniel seated innocently amongst the guests.

As Wade moved his inviting lips towards Daisy, her gaze flickered between Wade and Seth Nathaniel.

"Wade," Daisy called out, interrupting him.

"Can we please skip this part, I really can't do this," Daisy said, staring at Seth Nathaniel, who Immediately moved his gaze from the altar.

Daisy's action had caused an uproar in the congregation.

Gazing at her mom, Wade Roberto could read meaning into the lecherous gaze she had.

Walking up to the priest, Wade pleaded with him to skip the part that involved kissing the bride.

Moments later the priest made the announcement and urged everyone to stay till the wedding ended properly.

As Wade Roberto and Daisy Hunter walked down the altar having fulfilled their Holy matrimony, their gaze fell on the Lecherous gaze of Mrs Angela.

The wedding reception was fast, before Daisy could get a chance to see Seth Nathaniel, he was already gone.

Daisy sat with Alison as her friends brought gifts and wished her a happy marriage.

Since the reception started, Daisy had been glaring around to see if she would see Tracy Molly or Mrs Angela, but it seemed they had gone home.

Just as She and Alison were talking and smiling gleefully, a cold and detached voice pierced Daisy's ear.

"Daisy!"

"What was the meaning of that stunt you pulled off at the altar?"
