CHAPTER SIX.

He tried to talk to her through out the time they were eating but she did not want to talk to him. It was either she didn't respond or she would respond coldly, he had to let her be. They ate dinner silently and when they were done, Sarah offered to pay the bill but Ron declined. After Ron paid the bill, they were on their way back to Sarah's apartment. The ride back to Sarah's apartment was a silent one and though Ron tried to start a conversation with Sarah, she did not respond to any of what he said. Ron was certain now that he had made a grieve mistake of telling her that he was betrothed.

"See you again tomorrow?"

They were infront of Sarah's apartment and they were still in the car.

"I'll be busy tomorrow and the next and the next too." Sarah replied him.

He smiled. He knew what that answer meant, she was trying to avoid him now. For all he knew, she might not even be busy the next day. He took her hand in his, hers were small and felt weightless. He took her hand to his mouth
