I rubbed my stomach gently, unable to hold back my smile as the cabby drove down the road. It was still hard to believe that I was pregnant. The thought of it made me feel like I was on top of the world. It just felt so good.

"We are here, ma'am," The cabby's voice pulled me back to reality, and that was when the realization dawned on me that he was already parked in front of Bryant's house.

"Thank you," I muttered as I pushed the car door open and stepped out of the car. I paid him and he zoomed off.

As I stood in front of the house, I held my handbag tightly and bit my bottom lip. A part of me was eager to tell Bryant about the good news, but another part of me wanted me to wait. Bryant would ask me to move in immediately if he found out about the pregnancy now, and I still needed three days to do my confirmation before I leave Claire's house.
